Website Refresh & Repositioning

Proposal for
Stop & Seal

Stop & Seal has a product nobody else on the market has, a footprint that now stretches from the Gold Coast to California, and years of real people getting real results. This is the refresh that finally makes the website say so.

Prepared for Justin, Jake & Claire, Stop & Seal 17 September 2026

Overview

Let's get started

Justin, thank you for our Tuesday meeting. It was good to sit down and look at the site together, and it made the brief very clear. Jake and Claire, this is everything we talked through, laid out properly. Stop & Seal is the same business we built that website for a few years ago, and that's the point: the product is patented in over 150 countries, you've got offices and partners in the USA, Canada and the UK, and the clients on your list are the biggest names in Australian construction. The website has never told that story as well as it could, and on a phone right now it isn't telling any story at all. There is a lot of room to improve how Stop & Seal shows up online, and this is how we'd do it.

This document walks you through exactly how we'd refresh stopandseal.com.au: a sharper position and new copy aimed squarely at the people who actually buy from you, a mobile-first design that feels professional, established and personable (the same warmth you liked in our recent Watermark Constructions work and our own homepage), a proper telling of the SNSeal story, and a site that reads like the growing international company you've become. Then the sitemap, the investment, and what working together looks like from here.

This is a refresh and repositioning of your existing site, not a rebrand. Your name, mark and colours stay. The words, the structure and the experience change, and the scope and investment are matched to that.

Inge Loock, Creative Director at Studio Loock

The Idea

The leak everyone else gave up on. That's the story, and the website should lead with it.

Right now the site opens with "waterproofing solutions", which is the same phrase every membrane contractor in the country uses. But that isn't what makes Stop & Seal remarkable. What's remarkable is SNSeal: a patented injectable rubber that goes into an active leak, under water if it has to, without excavation, and holds where foam, resin and polyurethane fail. Your own clients say it best. "Leaks that have been issues for over 12 years that no one else could fix." That sentence is worth more than any headline we could write, and today it's buried at the bottom of the page.

So the repositioning is simple. Stop & Seal is not a waterproofing contractor. It's the only company with SNSeal. Nobody else on the market has it, and nobody else can apply it, which is the plainest reason there is to choose you for the job. It's the product that stops the leak for good, invented on the Gold Coast, proven on Queensland Government, Hutchinson and Mosaic projects, and now sealing structures in California, New York, Montreal and the UK. Every page, every heading and every photo gets rewritten and redesigned to make that obvious in the first five seconds, especially on a phone.

The people we're writing for are builders, body corporates, property and facility managers, engineers and government asset owners who have a leak, a deadline and a history of failed fixes. They don't need to be sold on waterproofing. They need to be shown, fast, that this is a product nobody else has, applied by real people, with real results to prove it.

Real people. Real results. A product no one else has.
Where This Build Takes You

A product no one else has. A website that finally says so.

Currently

  • The mobile site failed to load in our meeting. The homepage carries 28 scripts and social feed plugins, so on a phone the first impression is a blank screen or a long wait
  • The headline says "waterproofing solutions", the same words as every competitor, so the patented product reads as one service among many
  • The strongest proof on the site (Hutchinson, Queensland Government, twelve-year leaks fixed) sits well below the fold in small text
  • The international story is a paragraph. Offices in California, a New York launch, Canadian and UK partners deserve to shape how the whole site feels
  • Copy speaks to everyone at once, so it lands with no one in particular: the builder, the strata manager and the homeowner all get the same page

With Studio Loock

  • Designed for the phone first, then scaled up. Lean, fast, and tested on real devices before anything goes live
  • Current rankings benchmarked, protected through the restructure and monitored after launch, so the new site starts from where you are, not from zero
  • A sharp new position and headline system built around SNSeal: a product no one else on the market has, and the reason to choose Stop & Seal over anyone else
  • Real people, real results, moved to the front: named clients, the toughest jobs, the before and after, and quotes from the people who hired you
  • A proper Global section: Australia, USA, Canada and UK, each with its own page, so the site reads like the international company it now is
  • Copy written for the people who actually buy: commercial builders, body corporates, property and facility managers, engineers and government
Who You'd Be Working With

Studio Loock

Studio Loock is a creative agency built around three connected disciplines: branding, websites and SEO. A business rarely has a problem in just one of them. We're led personally by Inge Loock, working directly with a small team of trusted specialists rather than handing your project off to strangers.

You already know how we work, because we built the current site together. This time the job is sharper: take a patented product, a national client list and an international footprint that already exist, and make them read as clearly on a phone in New York as they do in a meeting on the Gold Coast.

The Feel You Pointed To

Professional and established, but a story told by people

In our meeting you singled out the Watermark Constructions homepage we've just designed: corporate enough for a boardroom, warm enough that you can tell real people run the business. That's the register for Stop & Seal too. Below is that homepage, live and scrollable, so you can feel the pacing, the photography and the tone we'd be bringing to your site, in your colours and around your story.

Watermark Constructions, homepage by Studio Loock. Storyteller structure, generous whitespace, real people in the photography. Our own site at studioloock.co works the same way.

The Website Build

What gets built

Positioning & messaging

  • A short positioning workshop with the three of you to lock the audience, the promise and the proof before a word is written
  • New headline system, value proposition and messaging hierarchy built around SNSeal and the leak nobody else can fix
  • All page copy rewritten for commercial buyers: builders, body corporates, property and facility managers, engineers, government
  • Tone: expert, plain-spoken, confident, and human. No "solutions" filler

Mobile-first design refresh

  • Every template redesigned for the phone first: homepage, product, services, applications, projects, about, global, contact
  • Your existing brand kept intact, applied with more whitespace, larger type and a storyteller rhythm down the page
  • The heavy page builder, social feeds and unused scripts stripped out so pages actually load on a phone
  • Tested on real iOS and Android devices before launch, not just resized in a browser

The SNSeal story: real people, real results

  • A dedicated product page that explains, in plain language, how SNSeal works, why it holds where foam, resin and polyurethane fail, and why no one else on the market can offer it
  • Projects rebuilt as short case stories: the leak, how long it had been a problem, what was tried, what you did, the result
  • Client logos, testimonials and the toughest jobs pulled up to the homepage where they earn trust in seconds, with the technicians who did the work shown alongside the results

Global footprint

  • A Global section with a page each for Australia, USA, Canada and UK: who to call, where you operate, local projects as they come in
  • The expansion told as a story on the homepage and About page: invented on the Gold Coast, now in California, New York, Montreal and the UK
  • Structure that lets a US-facing site or region switcher be added later without rebuilding

Foundations

Technical foundation

Built on your existing WordPress site, no migration. Templates rebuilt clean, performance tuned for mobile, analytics and Search Console connected from day one.

SEO & schema

Benchmarked before we start, redirect-mapped page by page, launched from staging in one clean switch, and monitored for 30 days after. Nothing you currently rank for is left to chance. Full detail in the SEO section below.

Imagery direction

A clear shot list for site, team and product photography, and your existing library curated so the site shows real people on real jobs, not stock. Faces, hands, pumps and sealed walls.

Content you can update yourself

Projects, global pages, team and news stay editable by your team through WordPress, the way they are today, inside the new structure.

One honest note: this is priced as a repositioning, copy and design refresh across your existing WordPress site. A separate US website, a full multi-region setup with local currency and content per country, or a change of platform would be genuinely new development, and we'd scope and price it separately when you're ready for it. New photography is quoted separately below.

Proposed Sitemap

How the site fits together, without moving what ranks

Built so nothing you already rank for moves. Every existing page keeps its URL. The new structure only adds: a product page, projects, and a home for the global footprint.

Search & Discovery

Nothing you've earned in search gets lost in the move

A new structure and new copy are exactly the kind of change that can quietly cost a site its rankings if nobody is watching. So SEO isn't a step at the end of this build. It sits inside every decision from the sitemap onwards, and we benchmark before we touch anything so we can prove nothing slipped.

Protecting What You Already Have

Benchmark before we start

A full snapshot of the current site: every indexed URL, the keywords each page ranks for, traffic by page, backlinks and Search Console data. This is the baseline everything gets measured against.

Keep what's working

The sitemap above is built around your existing URLs: all 19 current pages keep their address, including every application page. New pages are added alongside, not in place of them. If anything does have to move during the build, it gets a 301 redirect, mapped and tested before launch.

Carry the signals across

Page titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, image alt text and internal links are rebuilt deliberately in the new copy, not left to chance. New copy keeps the terms people already find you for and adds the ones they should.

Build on staging, launch clean

The new site is built on a staging copy hidden from Google, then goes live in one switch with the redirect map, XML sitemap and Search Console updated the same day.

Watch it for 30 days

After launch we monitor rankings, indexing and crawl errors against the baseline for a month and fix anything that moves. You get a short before-and-after report at the end of it.

Mobile performance

Google ranks the mobile version of your site. A page that doesn't load on a phone is invisible. Stripping the builder weight and feeds is an SEO fix as much as a design one.

Organisation, product & service schema

Structured data across the site so Google, and AI answer engines, can identify what SNSeal is, who makes it, and where you operate.

International setup

Country pages with correct regional signals and hreflang, so the US, Canada and UK pages surface in their own markets instead of competing with the Australian ones.

Search Console & analytics

Connected from day one so you can see what people search to find you, in each country.

Where We'd Go Next

Application pages built on real intent

"Lift pit waterproofing", "basement leak repair Brisbane", "car park leak sealing" are searched by exactly the people you want. Each application page can answer one of them directly.

Google Business Profiles per region

Gold Coast, NSW, Victoria and the US office each set up and consistent, so local search in each market shows the right contact.

An honest note

We don't guarantee rankings or AI-answer placement. Nobody credibly can. We follow what the evidence says works, and adjust as search evolves.

How We'll Get There

Estimated process

Roughly 5–7 weeks from kickoff to launch. The one thing that sets the pace is content: project details, client quotes and photography. We'll ask for those in week one.

01

Positioning workshop & messaging

One session with the three of you to lock audience, promise and proof: a product no one else has, real people, real results. Then the headline system and homepage copy, approved before design starts.

02

Mobile-first homepage design

The homepage designed on the phone first, then desktop, so the direction and tone are proven before they roll out site-wide.

03

Copy & design for every page

SNSeal, Solutions, Applications, Projects, About, Global and Contact written and designed. Project details and any new photography need to be with us by the end of week three to hold the launch date.

04

Build, SEO, QA & launch

Templates rebuilt on a staging copy in WordPress, redirect map and schema in place and tested, two revision rounds, real-device testing, a walkthrough, then one clean switch to live. Rankings monitored against the baseline for 30 days after.

Additional Package: Ongoing Care

Hosting & maintenance, offered separately

You asked for the ongoing cost up front, so here it is as its own package, separate from the website refresh above and not included in that total. A WordPress site needs someone looking after it every month: backups, updates, security, SSL and speed. You can take this on yourselves, or we can.

Do it yourselves

You keep the hosting account in your own name and your team takes on the upkeep: backups and test restores, WordPress core and plugin updates, SSL renewals, security monitoring, speed tuning, and first response if the site goes down.

Budget: roughly $10–40/month for hosting, plus realistically 2–4 hours a month of someone's time, more in a bad month.

We migrate the finished site and hand over every credential. Help after that is billed at $120/hour.

Studio Loock Care Package

Daily off-server backups with 30-day retention and free restores, SSL issued and auto-renewed, managed core, plugin and theme updates checked afterwards, and a server tuned for speed. Migration fee waived.

$50/month prepaid for 24 months ($1,200), $60/month paid yearly ($720), or $75/month paid monthly.

Cancel anytime on monthly. Prepaid terms refund unused whole months if you leave early. No lock-in: a full file and database backup is yours on request.

The Care Package doesn't include content changes, new features, domain fees or premium plugin licences. Those are quoted as they come up, or covered by a monthly content allowance if you'd rather have one; happy to set that up at sign-off.

How We Work

We don't disappear after launch, and we don't call something finished until you're genuinely happy with it.

Two revision rounds

Built into every package, so first drafts can be honestly first drafts. Extra rounds are billed at $120/hour.

A real handover

A WordPress walkthrough and documentation, so your team is never locked out of your own site.

Clear communication

Email keeps tasks and decisions in one place, WhatsApp for anything urgent. Office hours Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm AEST. Two meetings a month included.

We hope this gives you a clear picture of the direction, the build and how it all comes together. You said this needs to happen fast, so we've kept the questions short. Reply by email and we'll book the positioning workshop for the same week.

01

Are you happy with everything included, and does the investment and one of the payment plans work for you?

02

Can you pull together five to eight projects we can turn into real-people, real-results case stories: the building, the leak, how long it had been a problem, who did the work, and a contact we can quote?

03

Who's the right contact for each region (Australia, USA, Canada, UK) so the Global pages are accurate from day one?

Thank you

It's a rare thing to get to work on a business with a product no one else on the market has, and rarer still to get to do it twice. The site we built together did its job. Let's build the one that shows how much more there is to say. Excited to get started.
